Why are the totems 20 cm and not longer?

• What we identified was this allows you to propagate in lengths of 20 cm so you do not need to wait until the end of the totem before you can decide what to do next. This ensures you can propagate to sell, split the plant into segments, add legs and repot the plants in Tinker Segments (20cm)

• Also for aesthetic appeal, we don’t want the totem to tower over the plant. We want to keep the focus on the plant and less on the totem (Not saying Tinkers are not appealing though)

• For manufacturing purposes, 20 cm seems the most feasible given the current 3D printing technology.

How far to extend?

• Currently we do recommend extending up to 60 cm. Any longer and we do suggest an additional support by adding an extra stake just to provide a bit more support to top heavy plants.
